Parking Lots & Yards
Parking Lots & Yards
We build and rehabilitate complete parking lots and manoeuvring yards: from the survey and slope design through to the asphalt course, kerbs, drainage and line marking ready for use.
Water is what kills a parking lot. Before paving we set the falls towards gullies and channels, correct existing ponding and reinforce entry lanes, braking areas and truck accesses with concrete, where asphalt deforms first.
A well built parking lot drains, resists vehicle turning and is handed over already painted and marked.
How we do it
- Slope and drainage design to remove ponding before any asphalt is laid.
- Compacted base, hot-mix course and concrete reinforcement at accesses and braking areas.
- Bays, arrows, speed humps and accessible spaces painted at completion.
Safety and continuity
We almost always work in facilities that stay open, so the job is planned section by section so the client is never left without parking.
- Staged execution to keep bays and accesses available
- Temporary signage, cones and clear pedestrian detours
- Night or weekend work when the operation requires it
- Section handover once the surface is cool, painted and released
